Business Technology Management

Business Technology Management is designed to teach students how to function in everyday life, advanced academic settings, and

especially in the Business Management environment. Career and Professional Development, business practices, communications, and employability skills are integrated into the course. The class covers International Business, Business Planning, Human Resources, Leadership, Law and Ethics, and Project Management. Students will assume the role of a general manager using Virtual Business--Management (online simulation). Students will participate in the Microsoft IT Academy--an online technology curriculum working towards earning industry certification from Microsoft which validates mastery of Microsoft office skills. Davenport University articulation is available.

Each student will create a Business Plan for a business idea of their own.  Some of the projects for students businesses are, flyers, posters, commercials, telemarketing, designing a company logo, business card, business letters and more.
