The aim for all students in biology class is to explore the complexity, diversity, and interdependence of living things and their ecosystems. By working individually and collaboratively, students will conduct investigations, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate ideas and results. Topics studied in this class are: ecology, cells, heredity, evolution, classification and human anatomy.

Ecosystem Project - Due November 1 for all Biology Classes
Students will conduct a detailed, multi-sensory study of an ecosystem and use the recorded data to create a profile of a plot of land showing relationships and predicting the effects of change on the ecosystem. This project was assigned on September 28th and includes elements such as photography, collection of specimens, and journaling.
