Welcome to Mr. VanPeteghem's web page for the 2023-2024 school year.  I currently teach English 11, English 10, Public Speaking, and Advanced Public Speaking.  I am also the varsity baseball coach.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a major in English and minors in History, Communications, and Coaching Theory from Western Michigan University in 1999.  I proudly began teaching at Coloma High School in January of 2000.  I also completed a Master's degree in Sports Administration at Western Michigan University.  My hobbies include active activities like hiking, biking, and gardening.  I am also an avid collector of baseball cards, coins, and license plates.  I like to read and I have been a Detroit Tigers fan since before I could walk.
