CHS Automotive Technology
The Automotive Technology program is available to all 9th - 12th Grade the only prerequisite is to move between levels EG Auto 1 must be completed successfully prior to enrollment in Auto 2 and so forth. NOTE this is an elective class as such you must remain successful in your required academic courses to have room in your schedule for electives. Choose wisely how you will or will not complete work in those required courses so that you have space for the electives you want.
As a Senior this course can be used concurrently as a 4th math credit, a Visual and performing arts credit, Foreign Language Credit and a partial Science Credit. NOTE specific prerequisites apply in the 4 mentioned areas so ask your councilor for details.

- I am an A.S.E. Master Certified G1 Certified Automotive Technician. I have worked in GM and Chrysler Dealerships as well as an independent repair facility. I have operated my own Small Engine repair business off and on over the years starting when I was 14. I hold Certifications from NC3 and Snap-On to Teach the following Courses and offer the certifications in Multimeter, Battery Testing and replacement, Starting System testing/Diagnosis and Charging System testing/Diagnosis and am Registered with the Michigan Department of State to offer MI Mechanic Licensing Tests.
