Curt Mead

Curt Mead serves as a Social Studies and CTE instructor in the area of Business.  Mr. Mead is the JV Football Coach and Jr High Basketball coach.

Mr. Mead has taught in the subjects of Business and technology, as well as, History at Coloma High School since 2003.  Mr. Mead teaches the Business and Technology CTE classes of: Business Management, Accounting, Business Computers, Financial Management, and Digital Multimedia.  These classes offer students opportunities for career exploration and professional certifications.  Students are also offered leadership opportunities through our Business Club Spirit Store and CHS TV.

Mr. Mead is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a BS in Business and History. Mr. Mead has a Professional Career and Technical Education certificate from Western Michigan University.  He also has a MA in Education Technology from Walden University.

Mr. Mead has served as the Head Coach for the Coloma High School girls basketball program for 4 years (2005-2007, 2014-2016), Head Basketball Coach at Lawrence High School for 5 years (2010-2014) and previously was a Varsity Assistant and JV coach at for the Coloma Basketball Program for 5 years (2003-2009).

Mr. Mead has been a part of the Coloma Football program for 10 years serving both as an assistant coach and JV coach. (2007-2010, 2014- 2022) He was also the JV football coach and Varsity Assistant coach at Lawrence High School from 2010- 2013.
