About Me

Hello, my name is Caterina Rocca and I'm excited to be teaching at Coloma High School! I am originally from South Haven but spent a good portion of my life in Mid-Michigan and Southeast Michigan. During the 2016-2017 school year, I began working at Coloma High School and Junior High as a special education inclusion aide, and the following year I began teaching Health at both schools. This will be my ninth year of working in the Coloma Community School District. Before coming to Coloma I spent 13 years teaching in the Berkley School District, which is a northern suburb of Detroit, Michigan. During that time I taught Physical Education, Health, and English. I completed work for the State of Michigan Provisional Education Certificate at Aquinas College in 2001 and completed the work for my Professional Education Certificate at Madonna University in 2006. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running and participating in 5K races. I look forward to working with your student this year!
